I have completely jumped on this trend and am loving it. I got a onsie about a week ago and it's just not been cold enough to actually make any use of it. Yesterday was cold, finally! I got out of bed in the morning and jumped straight into my onesie. Best thing since fast dry nail polish. I am so chuffed that I want to get another one. I don't know if I'll actually sleep in it, but it is super awesome laying-around-the-house-wear. Mine even has a hoodie. I am looking forward to spending the cold winter afternoons in mine :) Definitely winning. The picture is of the onsie that I have. Don't you just love the snowflake pattern on it? Super comfies too. The ballet skirt
I was going through my cupboard last week and saw this little gem hanging in there. My beloved ballet inspired skirt. I bought it years ago when I still lived in London and haven't worn it in a very long time, I even forgot about it. Shame on me. I have the urge to start wearing it again this winter with some colourful tights. Any thoughts?
My face and winter
Isn't it funny (frustrating) how your skin completely freaks out with the change of the seasons? I have a love/hate relationship with winter. It all starts with autumn. I love autumn because the temperatures are a lot more moderate and since my skin hates heat, this makes me a happy girl. I know, living in South Africa is probably not the best thing considering it's hot more often than cool. I hate autumn however because I start getting these lovely dry patches on my body, including my face. Urg.
That's usually a good indication that winter is looming. To combat the patches on my face, I use different products on my face in summer and winter. Since I have super sensitive skin, I can never use too fancy smanchy products, I keep it simple.
During summer the Johnson's Face Care - Daily Essentials range is perfect to keep my face picture ready. In autumn I switch to Dove soap bar. Easy peasy. It sorts the dry patches in no time and I no longer have to hide away.
This switch happened a couple of of weeks ago again and winter is nearly here. Happy winter everyone, snuggle up and keep warm.
